This webinar is for anyone who wants practical\, proven\, and people-centered approaches to missionary mobilization. Whether you are brand new to mobilizing or have years of experience\, this session offers fresh insight into how mobilization actually works on the ground—through real conversations\, discernment\, and relational connections. \nThis webinar is designed for:\nMission mobilizers (new and experienced)\nChurch mission pastors\, leaders\, and mission teams\nDenominational and network-based mobilizers\nMission agencies training mobilization staff or teams\nChurches seeking to mobilize and send their own people\nLeaders exploring how to move from interest to action in global mission\nIt is especially helpful for those working to mobilize teams\, churches\, or networks\, and for anyone asking how to mobilize more effectively in today’s changing mission landscape. \nParticipants will learn:\nThe core mindset and DNA of effective mobilization\, shaped by Greg Livingstone’s approach\nHow to mobilize in different contexts: large gatherings\, one-on-one conversations\, and mission booths\nHow to enter mobilization spaces with high expectation and openness to divine connections\nPractical questions that help discern where a person is—and how God may be inviting them forward\nHow to engage and motivate people who are “interested but stuck in the middle”\nHow to mobilize churches and teams\, not just individuals\nHow to mobilize without needing to control outcomes—while still moving people toward concrete next steps\nParticipants will walk away with practical tools\, relational strategies\, and a renewed confidence to mobilize faithfully and fruitfully. \nPresenter: \nShawn Stewart serves as Coordinator of Field Readiness\, Development & Support with EPC World Outreach. He has been involved in church ministry and missions since sensing God’s call to full-time ministry as a young adult. Shawn was mobilized into missions 14 years ago by Greg Livingstone and went on to help build EPC World Outreach’s Mobilization Team from the ground up—coaching mobilizers\, engaging churches and presbyteries\, and helping mobilize more than 100 individuals and families into long-term service among unreached peoples.\nHe previously served as a missionary in Bolivia with SIM\, where he developed a nationwide youth-worker training ministry that continues today. Shawn has spent over four decades in student ministry\, training leaders and leading mission teams internationally. He holds a Master of Science in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University\, his Bachelor of Art in Christian Education from Wheaton College\, and an Associate of Art in Outdoor Recreation from Montreat College. Today\, Shawn coaches newly appointed global workers\, supports field teams\, and continues to invest in mobilizers and churches seeking to participate fully in God’s global mission. \n  \nMissio Nexus encourages interaction on diverse and difficult topics.
