SUMMARY:Risk\, Revenue\, and Renaming: How a 22-year Global Ministry Rebranded without Losing Supporters
DESCRIPTION:A Peer 2 Peer Webinar for Communications and Marketing Professionals \nMost of us know a rebrand is bigger than a new logo — but few of us get to watch one happen in full\, with the research data\, the board conversations\, the budget realities\, and the first month of live results all on the table. \nThis session walks through a complete ministry rebrand\, start to finish: how we tested a new name and visual identity across multiple countries\, how we built the case that won board approval\, how we designed a mark that works in closed-access countries where a Christian symbol can put people at risk\, and what happened when we put the new brand in front of the public. Attendees will see the actual research findings\, the decision points where we almost chose differently\, and the honest numbers from our first awareness campaign — including what underperformed. \nWhether you’re a one-person shop or leading a full communications team\, you’ll leave with a realistic understanding of what to expect in the rebranding process\, practical tips for timeline and budget development\, what it requires of your leadership and board\, and real-world communications guidelines for your staff and volunteers. \nYou’ll want to sign in to this if you are … \nSeasoned marketers\, creative strategists\, development officers\, organizational development leaders\, and C-Suite leaders who are contemplating comprehensive brand reinvigoration\, organizational name change\, and managing global alignment to drive brand awareness. This webinar will include a review of the design and brand identity process\, but will not focus on the tactical graphic design principles or elements. \nEspecially applicable for practitioners who are focused on the strategic level of brand management and managing change\, and currently:\n– Considering\, planning\, or currently in the middle of a rebrand or name change\n– Carrying responsibility for brand decisions without a large team or budget behind them\n– Working across multiple audiences (seekers and supporters\, field staff\, and donors)\n– Needing to build a persuasive case for board or executive approval\n– Operating in or alongside sensitive and closed-access contexts where visual identity carries real security implications \nYour Takeaways will include … \nParticipants will walk through the four phases of real-world global rebrand and leave with: \nA deeper understanding of the market research and trademark factors — How to run name and identity testing on a ministry budget\, what we measured across four international markets\, and how unaided awareness benchmarking gave us a number to defend decisions with (and to measure against later). \nHow to navigate emotional attachment and gain stakeholder/board approval — How to frame a rebrand for a board as stewardship rather than style: the case we built\, the objections we anticipated\, and what we’d tighten if we did it again. \nHow to preserve the mission\, reframe the messaging\, and choose the right name and mark — How a name\, a mark\, and a tagline get chosen when they have to carry theology\, function across languages and alphabets\, and protect field workers in hostile environments. Attendees will see the design rationale and the test data behind our final selections\, including the one in which research contradicted our instinct. \nHow to launch and roll out a new/reinvigorated brand to ensure buy-in from employees\, volunteers\, donors\, partners\, and primary audience segments — Sequencing a brand migration across a website\, advertising\, donor communications\, and international field teams; bringing global partners into the decision rather than announcing it to them; and month-one results from our national awareness pilot\, with what worked\, what didn’t\, and what we changed. \nHandouts will include access to ExploreGod’s rebranding playbook\, communications\, and brand guidelines. \nPresenter \nWith over 30 years of experience leading global brands through paradigm shifts\, Kim Stiver blends art and science in her approach to strategic thinking\, marketing planning\, and brand-centric communications. \nAn award-winning brand storyteller and highly regarded executive leader in integrated marketing\, organizational communications\, and key stakeholder relations\, Kim has led more than a dozen brand reinvigoration initiatives for both nonprofit and corporate organizations\, and has created all-new product brand names and go-to-market strategies across B2B and B2C market sectors. Her work on a rebranding campaign earned a regional Emmy Award and four Telly Awards. Kim joined ExploreGod in 2024 and leads a dynamic team focused on developing and managing sustainable creative and content experiences that capture\, motivate\, and nurture global audiences across multiple brand channels. \nKim’s leadership background and marketing expertise spans B2B\, B2C\, church\, and nonprofit segments\, with a proven track record of evaluating market trends\, conducting opportunity assessments\, and launching go-to-market strategies for high-tech\, subscription-based\, and CPG products and services. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Berry College and resides in Northern California. \nWith a passion for helping people discover the unparalleled satisfaction and joy of abiding in a deeply aligned relationship with Jesus\, Kim has served for decades as a teacher\, devotional writer\, and spiritual growth mentor focused on bridging the gap between Sunday morning experiences and the realities of daily living. \n  \nMissio Nexus encourages interaction on diverse and difficult topics. SUMMARY:Mobilization Strategy Summit
DESCRIPTION:This event is formerly the 24Plus Mobilization Directors Conference. \nJoin us to address ecosystem shifts with actionable organizational solutions. This summit features collaborative breakout labs designed to bridge the church-agency divide\, decode next-gen funding\, and navigate systems change. Equip your leadership team with strategic insights from an outside design consultant and collaborate with peers to build practical experiments you can launch immediately. \nParticipant Profile \nThis collaborative working summit is designed for Mobilization Leaders and Senior Agency Leaders ready to move from traditional recruiting models toward actionable innovation. To optimize the summit’s collaborative layout\, leaders are urged to attend alongside their key organizational decision-makers (CEOs\, COOs\, VP’s\, and Sending Pastors) to co-create practical frameworks and align on immediate strategic next steps. \nWho You’ll Meet \nNetwork with mobilization leaders and affiliated leaders in the mobilization arena from a wide variety of mission agencies and denominations.  Meet veteran and emerging leaders from these organizations who are attending with their mobilization leaders. Connect with a variety of presenters who specialize in mobilization leadership topics. \nThe Focus Areas \nThis summit provides the strategic frameworks and peer accountability needed to transition from theory to execution. Together\, we will address: \n\nEcosystem Alignment: Bridging the church-agency divide to reduce system redundancy.\nGenerational Innovation: Adapting candidate coaching and funding models for Gen Z and Gen Alpha.\nCultivate Mobilization Across Departments: Inspire cross-departmental collaboration for an organization-wide mobilization culture\n\nSuccess is not defined by “solving” these global shifts in a few days\, but by leaving with named tensions\, aligned realities\, and low-risk experiments to test within your leadership domain over the next 12 months. \nWhy You Want to Participate \n\nDiagnose Blind Spots: Leverage the insights of an outside organizational design expert to identify where your current models create unintended barriers.\nBridge the Gaps: Break down the historical divides between agencies\, churches\, and funding pipelines alongside peers who are doing the same.\nDe-risk Innovation: Collaborate on testing new hybrid frameworks before risking capital or organizational momentum.\n\nHow It Will Help You \nYour team will depart with a curated portfolio of micro-experiments—low-risk\, high-leverage steps designed to bypass internal status-quo resistance and jumpstart immediate operational innovation within your organization. \nEvent Overview \nA 3-day collaborative strategy summit hosted at the Frontiers Headquarters. Moving entirely away from passive lectures\, this event brings together integrated leadership teams—mobilization leaders alongside organizational decision-makers—to tackle the root-system structural challenges facing global missions. Guided by an outside systems and organizational design consultant\, the summit features three intensives\, facilitated breakout labs utilizing dedicated strategic meeting spaces across the campus. Participants will engage in rigorous peer-to-peer alignment\, diagnose shared organizational friction points\, and depart with low-risk micro-experiments to pilot immediately back home. \nThis Summit will feature a number of speakers as well as our Event Facilitators/Mobilization Track Leaders. \nEvent Facilitators \n \nDave Jacob is a missions mobilization practitioner\, researcher\, trainer\, and consultant. SUMMARY:Moving Donors From Supporting a Person to Supporting the Mission
DESCRIPTION:A presentation of the Marketing/Communications Track \nWhy You Should Attend\nYour missionary donors are some of the most loyal you have\, but most of them have never given to the organization. This session looks at why that gap matters and how you can start to close it. \n Who Should Attend\nCommunications\, development\, and donor relations staff at mission-sending organizations that want to grow giving to the organization itself\, not just to individual missionaries. \nHere is what we will cover:\n— What the benchmark found about how missionary donors and organization donors differ\, including retention and five-year value\n— How few donors ever cross over\, and what the timing data shows: no obvious moment\, just a steady rate across the first five years\n— Where storytelling\, email\, and updates can introduce the wider mission to donors who started with a person\n— A few things you can try right away \nPresenters\nScott Holthaus is the VP of Brand Marketing at Virtuous\, where he helps nonprofits grow giving and implement responsive fundraising. Before joining Virtuous\, Scott spent 15+ years working in nonprofits\, ministries\, and technology in a variety of roles\, including marketing\, branding\, and communications. Her career includes a successful track record of developing effective marketing and fundraising strategies and putting them into motion. Her job is to think through fundraising analysis\, planning\, and strategy and through it develop our clients’ growth models. By staying on top of KPIs\, analyzing results\, and offering recommendations on where to make improvements\, she helps our clients achieve their long-term goals. Jaclyn is originally from Portland\, OR and attended Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Philosophy.
