Member Census: Volume 6

$50.00

After five volumes as the Member Data Report, it’s time for a name that fits what it’s become: the Member Census. Volume 6 draws on 2025 data from 87 Missio Nexus member agencies: 56,522 home office and field staff, $1.35 billion in combined revenue. Two brand-new sections join the report this year (missionary kids serving on the field, and how agencies handle staff retirement), alongside fresh data on attrition, diversity, and funding across the sector. It’s the clearest picture we’ve published yet of who we are and how we serve, and it’s free for every agency that took part in the census.

Missio Nexus members only. Free for participating agencies (with coupon code); $50 for member agencies that did not participate.

Participate next year and receive the next Member Census free. The census is designed for Missio Nexus member organizations of every size and ministry type.

Once a year, the Missio Nexus Member Census, formerly the Member Data Report, takes stock of who our member agencies are, how they’re staffed and funded, and where their people serve around the world. Volume 6 is built from 2025 data reported by 87 of our 339 member agencies, covering 56,522 home office and field staff and $1.35 billion in combined revenue. Two new sections arrive this year, both by request: missionary kids serving on the field and in college, and how member agencies structure staff retirement. You’ll also find data on field worker attrition, the diversity gap between home office and field teams, and how administrative fees vary by agency type and size. Use it for benchmarking, grant proposals, and board reports, or simply to see where your agency fits in the larger picture. Participate in the data collection and the Member Census is yours free; it’s $50 for member agencies that sat this year out.
